We are looking for an LRHW Production Engineer to join our team in supporting PM STRIKE, Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW).
The successful candidate will serve as a Production and Industrial Operations Engineer for the Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO-MS) Dark Eagle Project Office, which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon capability. The Production Engineer is responsible for providing subject matter expertise related to system and subsystem production processes and procedures, manufacturing readiness assessments, proposal evaluations, and pilot line validations.

Estimated Salary Range: $110,000 - $147,000

Your day-to-day work will include:
- Provide production subject matter expertise
- Lead and/or support production line validation (PLV)
- Review and define system requirements
- Support technical evaluations on contractor proposals.
- Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate the product DD250 process
- Support efforts related to diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMS/MS) and supply chain risk management
- Develop and present briefings and reports to the government customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems.
At a minimum you should have:
- US citizenship, and residency near Huntsville, AL, or be willing to relocate.
- An active SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree.
- 5 years of experience supporting engineering for production and production planning.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for a major defense acquisition program office or OEM.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of manufacturing processes and procedures as they pertain to weapon systems.
- Manufacturing readiness assessments or related activities.
- Demonstrated experience with obsolescence mitigation methods.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
- Required Travel: 25%
You will be highly desirable if you have:
- Technical oversight of major weapon systems development.
- Relevant experience with RCCTO, Army project office, and/or PEO MS.
- Experience preparing briefings and documentation for senior leadership.
- Familiar with conducting reviews of entrance and exit criteria.
