We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Product Owner. This role involves researching complex systems, collaborating with development teams, and driving product improvements to enhance user experiences. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, experience with Azure DevOps, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. An active Secret clearance or higher is required for this position. This is a 6 month contract with potential to renew for next year.
Responsibilities:
Research complex data and dated proprietary systems to identify and document all requirements necessary to support feature development.
Collaborate with the development team to define and write user stories with the appropriate level of detail to ensure productivity.
Groom and prioritize the product backlog, focusing on delivering the most valuable enhancements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to design and implement seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate features meet requirements and deliver value.
Document decisions, requirements, and progress clearly and ensure alignment across teams.
Manage the backlog, features, and stories using Azure DevOps (ADO), including maintaining Kanban boards with attention to detail and speed.
Qualifications:
Proven aptitude for analyzing and understanding complex proprietary systems and making actionable suggestions for improvements.
Strong ability to ask insightful questions, document clear requirements, and keep teams aligned on objectives.
Experience in product management and ownership, including backlog grooming and prioritization.
Proficiency in coordinating with development teams and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve goals.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management and work item tracking.
Skilled in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure feature quality and alignment with requirements.
Must possess an active Secret clearance or higher.
