About the Role:

Aquila is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator t o join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The Windows Systems Administrator will need to demonstrate proficiency with the underlying processes and components that support the team/organizations technologies.

There are a few requirements for the position:

• Must be a U.S Citizen- Must have an Active Secret Clearance (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
• Must be within 100 miles of worksite (Lexington, MA)

Responsibilities: These would include but are not limited to:

• DNS, DHCP, NPS, group policies,
• WSUS, VMware distributed switching and creating VM templates
• Possess advanced knowledge of Powershell, PowerCLI, STIGs (full and benchmark)
• DISA Evaluate-STIG, SCC Tool and STIG Viewer and how to evaluate systems for STIG compliance
• VMware vSAN, NetApp, Cohesity Backup and/or RHEL will be given preference.

Must Have:

• Certification: Security+ certification (or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
• 3 years - Government Policy/Regulations
• 3 years - STIG Compliance
• 5 years - Systems
• 5 years - Active Directory Administration and GPOs
• 5 years - Virtualization Technologies (VMware, including ESXi and VCenter configuration)
• 5 years - Windows 10
• 5 years - Windows 11
• 5 years- Windows Patch Management
• 5 years - Windows server/workstation administration
• 5 years - Windows Server Platform
