Marketing Intern

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team! This role is a great opportunity for a college student interested in gaining real-world experience in marketing, social media, and design. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and support a variety of projects that help promote our brand.

The AEVEX Internship Program gives individuals who are early in their career the opportunity to gain valuable learning opportunities while discussing goals, evaluating performance and receiving regular feedback.

Essential Functions

• Create basic graphics and marketing materials (like social media posts, flyers, and event visuals) using design tools.
• Help prepare marketing materials for tradeshows and events. Assist with setup and organization when needed.
• Help schedule and post content across social media platforms. Assist with brainstorming new ideas and tracking basic engagement metrics.
• Help design and organize promotional items (swag) for events and internal use.
• Support the marketing team with day-to-day tasks and projects.
• Collaborate with manager to establish internship goals and steps on achieving those goals throughout duration of the program
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a creative eye.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Education / Certifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.

Experience

• Some experience with graphic design tools (such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop).
• Experience with creating presentations (PowerPoint).
• Previous internship or volunteer experience in marketing or events.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment

AEVEX provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.

Salary Range

$20 - $25 USD
