Software Requirements Manager - Position Description

We have immediate hire openings for Software Requirements Manager to support Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Navigation & Electrical (C4N&E) activities at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD in, Panama City, FL who wants to grow with the Company. Security Clearance:

This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:

The candidate's responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) performing or supporting the following actions:

• Develop system-level, subsystem-level, and application-level software requirements specifications based on user needs, DoD Instructions, and other inputs specified for the LCAC system.
• Maintain or develop any new LCAC Air Cushion Vehicle (ACV) systems baseline documentation and drawings.
• Perform requirements elicitation, analysis, and management.
• Establish the system level technical requirements and all supporting requirements.
• Perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements have a source and are justified as complete.
• Ensure traceability of the requirements through all levels of design, development, integration, test, and production; and assess the System Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (SRVTM) for a task.

Experience Requirements:

An ideal candidate will possess:

• At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience, preferably obtained in a US Navy/DoD environment.

Educational & Certification Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science.
• Requirements engineers are part of the Navy Cybersecurity workforce and designated as Work Role Systems Requirements Planner (641). To meet this requirement a candidate will have one of the following certifications or Operating System/Computing Environment (OS/CE) certificates of training, as dictated by Command CWF-PM.
  • Certified Network Defender (CND)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CyberSec First Responder (CFR)
  • Federal IT Security Professional-Manager-NG (FITSP-M)
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
• An ideal candidate will possess knowledge of/experience of:
  • One or more of the following: JCL, SQL, Git, Windows, Linux, UNIX, Java, CMPRO, Confluence, JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab, VxWorks, DOORS.
  • Scrum Project methodologies and tools
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficiency with common productivity software, including Microsoft Office.

Travel Requirements:

• This position is expected to require up to 10% of travel, including overseas travel.
