Position Overview:
The candidate will be working independently as a Software Researcher to identify flaws in software and software architecture design. Additionally, the candidate must be familiar with the latest techniques in vulnerability research and demonstrate their ability to follow best practices. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented when documenting their research. Often, the candidate will be required to write code in C, Python, and Assembly to demonstrate the ability to control the flaws. The candidate will need to understand distributed architectures and protocol analysis between disparate components.
Position Requirements:
• Expert understanding of distributed architectures and inter-component protocol analysis
• Experience with Software-as-a-Service architectures; AWS certifications a plus
• Deep understanding of OS internals (any major OS)
• Experience reading and writing assembly (x86/x64, ARM, MIPS, etc.)
• Extensive experience with debuggers (e.g., WinDBG, GDB, ADB, BDI)
• Proficiency in dynamic and static binary analysis, fuzzing techniques, and source code auditing
• Strong C, Python, and Assembly (ASM) development skills
• Proven ability to self-direct research and complete complex technical investigations
• Highly motivated to learn and explore complex system interactions
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong collaboration skills for working with researchers and developers in a mission-focused environment
