Overview
Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst II to join the Portfolio Opera t ions team , supporting the execution of a large size , multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP) . The Developer 's key responsibility will be ensuring the accuracy and integrity of payroll data through rigorous testing and validation processes, ensuring compliance with customer and Nakupuna company policies and legal regulations .

- Writing basic queries
- Create or update data conversion programs
- Run payrolls for comparison/reconciliation testing
- Create comprehensive test plans
- Data Analytics and Validation - v erify the accuracy of employee data, pay rates, and deductions . R econcile pay results between systems
- Regression Testing - ensure that new code or changes do not introduce errors into existing payroll functionality
- Problem Solving - i dentify , analyze, and resolve issues or discrepancies in payroll data or processes ; categorize variances
- Documentation - m aintain thorough documentation of test plans, results, and resolutions
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field preferred . Relevant experience in software development, data validation.
Skills/Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL required
- E xperience with additional programming languages ( Python , Java ) is preferred
- Experience with database management systems
- Strong understanding of data validation techniques
- Project Management experience is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
