Job Summary
- Seeking a skilled Linux based System Administrator (SA-2) to support a small (10 person) development team with the management and sustainment of a United States Intelligence community (USIC) mission capability
Primary Responsibilities
- This role requires a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with the development team, capabilities providers, and mission customers to migrate existing applications and services off legacy hardware and onto enterprise compute frameworks
Required Qualifications
- System Administrator (SA-2) with experience in the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and services for USIC customer
- Management of virtual and cloud environments
- Collaborate with SW development team to deploy, test, monitor, and operate customer applications and services
- Collaborate with Information System Security Engineer and Officers (ISSE/O) to conduct patching and configuration changes required to maintain existing System Security Plans (SSP)
- Proven knowledge and experience with Enterprise RedHat Linux, IT System Operations, Kubernetes, Cloud frameworks, and containerization required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Sun Sparc & Solaris, and Microsoft Windows applications
