Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Senior Manager to join our growing team in Ridley Park, PA, supporting our Vertical Lift division and our Mesa, AZ site.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Position Responsibilities:
- Cohesive partnering / integration with the supply base, key program business partners, and first line leaders
- Focus on continuous improvement, the ability to recognize and implement opportunities to bring preventative best practices to the supply base, development of data driven initiatives aimed at reductions of quality related disruptions, and fostering a culture that embraces the Boeing Behaviors are key tenants of the position.
- Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
- Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- More than 5 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
- More than 5 years of experience managing teams
- More than 3 years of experience working in the aerospace industry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master's degree or higher
- Experience working as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer
- More than 1 year interfacing directly with suppliers
- Experience working with Boeing Supply Chain tools and processes
- 3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS91001))
- Lean Six Sigma certification
