Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior I.T. Project Manager to lead large-scale technology projects supporting federal and defense missions in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex I.T. initiatives in DoD or government contracting environments and must hold an active Secret clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle management of enterprise I.T. projects (software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.).
Serve as the primary interface between technical teams, government stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
Manage scope, timelines, and deliverables using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
Ensure all projects meet federal compliance standards and contractual requirements.
Deliver regular status reports and executive briefings to internal and external leadership.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance (must be current at the time of application).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience managing I.T. projects, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
Proven background in federal or DoD contracting environments.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PgMP, or Agile certification (PMI-ACP, CSM, etc.).
Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, NIST), cloud migrations, and DoD acquisition processes.
Familiarity with DISA, Army, or Air Force I.T. programs and infrastructure.
