***TEMPORARY POSITION FROM MID MAY 2025 - MID JUNE 2025***

KBR is seeking a temporary hire to provide Headquarters STARCOM onsite support from mid-May to mid-June 2025 in Colorado Springs, CO.

A strong candidate has experience providing protocol support for a military Commander, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff, and/or Senior Enlisted Member. In this position, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide protocol support in the planning and execution of all events, meetings, visits, conferences, and ceremonies.
• Guide assigned action officers.
• Draft event books and review and finalize event scripts.
• Set up and prepare rooms, video conferences or teleconferences prior to meetings, events, visits, and conferences.
• Ensure precedential order for proper seat placement. Place flags. Set up water, tea, and coffee
• Create / place nametags, seating charts, parking signs, table setting name plates, for meetings and hosted events.
• Edit and update the weekly director's meeting slides.
• Coordinate meeting reservations for conference rooms and make parking and equipment reservations.
• Monitor email workflow boxes / calendars and provide email responses.
• Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.

Qualifications:

Required:

• An active Secret clearance is required; however, individuals with no clearance may be considered. A DoD clearance is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
• 3 years of experience directly relating to the job responsibilities
• Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Accustomed to professionally working with military senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.

Desired:

• Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, SpOC, STARCOM or equivalent.
• Experience with US Space Force weapon systems and missions.

• Location: On-site
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
• Working Hours: Standard

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

$105,000 - $120,000

This range is for Colorado only.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
