Program Summary
The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.

Provides general secretarial support and office assistance at the program director level on the P&MCLS Program. Assists lower-level secretaries as required.

Job Summary
Provides general secretarial support and office assistance at the program director level on the P&MCLS Program. Assists lower-level secretaries as required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Organizes, establishes and maintains a complete and accurate office filing system of records including employee records, timecards, daily attendance logs, correspondence, report, etc.
- Prepares routine office forms and reports (i.e. overtime authorization, payroll adjustment notices).
- Screens telephone calls, personal callers and incoming mail.
- Personally, respond to inquiries, which requires knowledge of office procedures or collection of information from files or other offices.
- Coordinates administrative activities between functional offices and keeps managers direct reports abreast and informed of pertinent information needed for day-to-day operations.
- Plans for conference and meetings and assembles established background materials, as directed.
- Attends meetings, take appropriate minutes, and reports on the proceedings.
- Plan, book, and expense travel as required.
- Proofreads and edits work for correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
- Uses standard office equipment such as personal computer, Xeroxing machine, facsimile machine, collator/sorter, etc.
- Complies with all MCPP ISO-9002 policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of Five (5) years of progressive work experience in a comparable environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise communications to all levels of employees and to develop and present a wide variety of training programs.
- High levels of diplomacy and professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.
- Strong project management skills.
