Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Systems/Network Administrator responsible for overseeing and maintaining the cusotmer's IT infrastructure, including network design, server administration, and security protocols, while troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring optimal system performance.
Essential Functions:
- Windows Operating Systems (Windows 11 and Windows 10)
- Minimum of five years' experience:
- setting up accounts at differing security levels
- Configuring group policies
- Configuring network communications
- Configuring communication ports (RS232)
- Experience upgrading older systems to Windows 11
- Minimum of five years' experience:
- Windows Registry
- In-depth understanding and experience with manually configuring Windows settings in the Windows registry
- Cyber Security
- Certification and experience in Cyber Security defense measures
- Linux OS
- ACAS Scanners
- Experience with ACAS Scanners and Servers
- SCAP Scans
- Experience running, examining, and addressing SCAP Scans
- Experience determining the required patches and updates and applying them
- Experience running, examining, and addressing SCAP Scans
- Serial (RS232) Communications
- Full understanding of RS232 communication protocols
- Experience with USB to COM port converters
- Other technical qualifications

- Microsoft Deployment Tool
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience can be substituted for education.
- At least 15 years of experience in Information Technology, with system and network administration.
- MUST have CompTIA Security+ certification
- Familiarity with IT compliance, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Superior interpersonal skills, capable of resolving complex project issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, clients, and integration teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a defense or government contracting environment.
- Familiarity with IT security practices and risk management.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
