Software Quality Assurance Specialist (Salesforce)

Nightwing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting a team managing several Salesforce applications within a Scrum Agile environment. The ideal candidate will focus on both manual and automated testing , ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining software quality by identifying defects, documenting findings, and collaborating with the development team.

This position requires an Active TS/SCI with polygraph Day 1

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and automated testing of Salesforce applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios specific to Salesforce implementations.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using designated tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in Scrum Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Provide detailed reports on testing progress, results, and defect resolution.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of test documentation, including user guides and test scripts.
• Implement and utilize test automation tools for Salesforce applications, as applicable.
• Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements to enhance software quality within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing .
• Familiarity with Scrum Agile development practices.
• Ability to manage multiple Salesforce applications and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Salesforce-specific tools like Accelq or Test Automation Framework ).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for documenting and discussing findings.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
