**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT**
Job Description: The Joint Exercise Planner will support the 492 SOW's multi-domain theater engagement planning and execution of formal exercises, operations, and contingency scenarios.
Responsibilities:
- Continuity support for Wing-level planning and policy implementation, development of Planning Orders, and classified Operational and Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP).
- Provide research, analysis, and development assistance to Wing-level planning, policy implementation, and execution of planning functions to facilitate support to Geographic Combatant Command/Theater Special Operations Command operations.
- Assist and support programmatic activities for the 492 SOW.
- Assists with Hurricane Evacuation planning and coordination of joint and JNTC exercises.
- Conduct cross-functional coordination with Wing logistics to enable deployment of personnel/equipment under the Global Force Management Allocation Process.
- Produces classified weekly Commander's Update Briefs and prepares high-level reports and presentations on tasks related to SOCOM, AFSOC, Theater Engagement, NSAV, Information Operations, and Force Protection.
- Conduct Wing senior leader planning briefings as required.
- Maintains equipment accountability and supports work area physical security coordination.
- Acts as alternate custodian on physical security accounts and help develop DCRs, OCRs, MOUs, and MOAs for coordination with Host and Tenant Units.
- Provides After-Action Report and Lesson Learned documentation in coordination with AFSOC A9L
- Produce and present input for weekly classified Commander's Update Briefs; submit bi-weekly activity reports; prepare briefings and documentation including Bullet Background Papers, Point Papers, and PowerPoint presentations related to Joint Planning Group and 492 SOW initiatives; and conduct senior leadership briefings as required
Requirements
- Experience with multi-domain theater engagement strategies, formal exercise coordination, Air Force planning procedures, and classified planning documents is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Experience with cross-functional coordination and briefing preparation.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience with AFSOC participation in Joint Exercises.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
