Castellum, LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.
We are recruiting an experienced Government Contract Bid Pricing Analyst to join our team. The Senior Government Contract Bid Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in developing pricing strategies for competitive bids and proposals, particularly in federal government contracting. This position requires strong analytical skills, an in-depth understanding of cost structures, and the ability to develop competitive and compliant pricing models. Work is remote.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for developing compliant cost models and effective pricing strategies for proposals by collaborating with the business development, capture, proposal, human resources, and finance departments.
• Identify the pricing variables that can be leveraged to meet pricing objectives and make recommendations for how best to leverage these variables.
• In collaboration with other managers, develop price-to-win goals, and provides input for competitive direct/indirect rates.
• Develop and present pricing models based on one or more pricing strategies.
• Develop a data set of industry, competition, and technical domain-specific variables that can be used to guide and influence pricing strategies; inclusive of (but not limited to) indirect rates, labor category salary data, salary escalation history, and relevant contract award history data.
• Conduct competitive analysis on competitors to estimate their price targets.
• Develop Cost Narratives across Castellum family of companies
• Engage with subcontractors on pricing exercises in support of proposal efforts
• Ensure the final cost proposals compliance with Governmental regulations, including CAS, FAR and DFARS.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of prior relevant experience in Government Contracting.
• 2+ years of prior experience with pricing and proposal writing in government contracting environment.
• Strong skills across the entire suite of MS Office products.
• Highly skilled with MS Excel working with formulas.
• Flexibility to handle non-standard workweeks to meet deadline requirements.
