THE WORK
This position is part of the Supplier Quality Operations (SQOps) team within the Supplier Quality Excellence (SQEx) organization and primarily supports the Sikorsky Supplier Quality System (SSQS). The responsibilities of this role are:
- Monitoring and resolving supplier help desk tickets and technical questions related to inspection requirements and software configuration
- Processing requests for new supplier activation
- Assigning supplier quality "flow-down" requirements for procurement
- Reviewing and releasing Purchase Orders and Purchase Requests
- Resolving systems issues related to inspections
- Provide systems access and training for new inspectors and administrators
- Provide support to IT for resolving system defects and testing scripts for the fixes
- Managing a high-volume inbox for supplier trouble-shooting, and proactively communicating in a way that teaches/mentors, as well as documenting recurring questions and issues that arise to internal and external customers
