Job Description Summary
The Operational Execution Leader will be responsible for supporting the management of the overall Detailed Engineering Plan (DEP) and Earned Value Management (EVM) for a military Next Generation Program.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Operational Execution Leader, you will:
  • Understand status of engineering execution per the DEP with the assistance of the Certified Account Managers (CAMs).
  • Collaboratively resolve conflicts with the schedule and workload
  • Proactively communicate with Operations Leadership and assist with preparation of program operating meetings
  • Support the creation visual board information to effectively communicate program status and other valuable information to the team
  • Identify and lead productivity projects for the program
  • Lead engineering process improvement initiatives across Edison Works programs
  • Provide lean and GE Aerospace operating rhythm support and guidance to the engineering team
  • Obtain and maintain government security clearance at Secret level and work within a controlled secure environment


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
