The Opportunity

The Satellite Communications Operator / Maintenance Technician will be responsible for operating, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on satellite communications equipment and associated peripheral support systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate / Maintain various DoD and commercial satellite communications systems.
• Operate / Maintain modems and baseband equipment associated with satellite communications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electronic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair communications system faults.
• Prepare written reports as required.
• Utilize electronic test equipment to troubleshoot serial and IP circuits.
• Perform COMSEC duties as required.
• Escort visitors as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
