Background

• Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers
• Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems
• Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups
• Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access
• Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses
• May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
• Creating and setting up automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Configure aircraft deployment pipeline and produce release charts

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in a computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline
• An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree
• 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description and responsibilities
• 3 years' cloud experience
• 3 years' DevOps and DevOps tools experience
• 3 years' version control experience
• 3 years' scripting and programming experience
• 3 years' security experience
• 3 years' deployment and migration experience
• 3 years' monitoring and logging experience
• 3 years' agile methodologies experience
• 3 years' soft skills experience

Preferred

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
