Job Summary:
North Stone is seeking a skilled and motivated Data / Cloud Analyst to join our team and play a key role in transforming raw data into valuable business insights. In this role, you will design and maintain cloud-based data pipelines, perform complex data analysis, and collaborate across departments to support data-driven decision-making. You will ensure data integrity and optimize existing processes, contributing to a scalable and efficient data ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in cloud platforms, data modeling, and visualization tools.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Perform data analysis, including data mining, aggregation, and validation to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data documentation and metadata.
- Proactively explore opportunities for data process improvements and optimizations.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and cloud computing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- US citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
- Understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and services.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
