Overview
Abacus Technology is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) programs for IT and telecommunications operations at Fort Bragg. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
6+ years experience in quality assurance, IT service management, or software quality control. Bachelor's degree in a related field desired. Must be Security+ certified (or hold an equivalent certification in compliance with IAT Level II). ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification and ITIL Foundations certifications desired. Extensive experience developing and maintaining QA standards, guidelines, and metrics for IT and telecommunications projects. Proficient in software quality control, process improvement, and compliance methodologies. Strong background in conducting audits, analyzing performance data, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Able to independently assess IT projects and recommend process optimizations. Experience with ITIL-based service management, quality frameworks, and DoD compliance standards. Proficient in quality management systems (QMS), risk assessments, and process auditing methodologies. Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality assurance standards, processes, and methodologies for IT and telecommunications services.
- Develop and implement Software Quality Assurance/Control Plans and project quality procedures that conform to contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Army IT policies, DISA STIGs, RMF, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide an independent assessment of projects, identifying areas for process improvement and compliance risks.
- Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure adherence to contractual, Army, and industry standards.
- Establish and track business-specific quality measurements to monitor IT service performance.
- Identify root causes of IT service failures, develop corrective action plans, and track progress toward resolution.
- Recommend process optimizations to improve service delivery, network administration, and system performance.
- Conduct audits and review/analyze data and documentation for quality compliance.
- Oversee formal and informal project reviews at pre-determined milestones.
- Document nonconformances, process deficiencies, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ITIL, and DoD IT quality management frameworks.
- Manage quality improvement activities, including risk mitigation, issue tracking, and compliance enforcement.
- Coordinate with Army IT leadership and stakeholders to enforce QA best practices and ensure service continuity.
- Implement lessons learned from quality assessments to refine Army IT processes and reduce operational risks.
