Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is seeking a Developer to join our team for a long-term project supporting a US government civil agency program.
This remote role has duties and responsibilities that will include, but not be limited to:
Participating in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.
Assisting Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements and design specifications to code and integrate and test software components.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Candidate must have a Public Trust (or higher) clearance and undergo NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) Investigation
Candidate must have at least 5 years' experience in the following:
- Assisting in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
- Using Angular framework in TypeScript, Java Spring Boot, Google Cloud SQL.
- Interpreting requirements and ensuring application designs meet business requirements.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Cypress or Selenium E2E testing
- Jest (or similar) component testing
- JUnit Java testing knowledge
- K8s (Kubernetes)
Work Environment
Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.
