The Airborne Systems Business Area, part of the Defense Sector at Leidos, currently has an opening for a cleared Facilities Manager to work in our offi ce near Hanscom AFB, MA . This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Air Force Research Lab, Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, and other DoD missions. Your role will be to support our diverse portfolio of programs through a combination of software design and development, hardware interfacing and integration, laboratory experimentation, ground and flight testing to deploy cutting edge , next generation solutions.  

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards and design and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in national security.  


  • Lead analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for challenging organizations.  


  • Perform complex activities as related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization.  


  • Prepare and review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility.  


  • Advise clients in developing plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or individual space requirements.  


  • Recommend planning, design, and construction standards and milestones.  


  • Support the on-boarding and departure of program personnel.  


  • Coordinate with workforce, service providers, and stakeholders on events, such as scheduled maintenance or outages, that impact operations  


  • Maintain an inventory of serialized and accountable items  


 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience , 5 years of which must be in supporting DoD    


  • Must be a US Citizen


  • Must have an active DoD TS clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI  


  • Experience supporting a SIL environment  


  • Experience in facilities management/project management  


  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems  


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  


  • Excellent organizational and management skills  


  • Experience with managing the operational tracking of all client space allocations, tracking quarterly space data trends, preparing financial data based on space allocation, and maintaining a drawing and database repository depicting component space allocations and costs  


  • Ability to support client facilities organizations across a range of facilities-related tasks  


  • Ability to develop, implement, and oversee facilities-related budget execution requirements  


  • Ability to provide a variety of facility project management services support to client facility occupants  


  • Ability to provide guidance on a range of facilities project issues, including consideration of risk and impact on client-owned and leased facilities and infrastructure  


  • Ability to update and maintain documentation in direct support of client facilities  


  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally from informal one-on-one discussions or in a small group environment.   


  • Ability to work within a dynamic work environment, ability to handle multiple tasks at once (multi-task)  


 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance  


  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies, preferably SCRUM or Kanban  


  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket

Pay Range: Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
