Prometheus Energetics, LLC is a new US-based joint venture between Kratos Defense & Security Systems and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. to be a market supplier of solid rocket motors, energetics, and other adjacent market opportunities for the US and international defense markets. The company will be headquartered on a roughly 500-acre site near the United States Navy and Army facility in Crane, Indiana, where it will establish a cutting-edge energetics manufacturing campus and facilities.
Prometheus Energetics, LLC, is currently seeking a Business Development Director to lead and manage all aspects of business development, capture management, and marketing for key growth market areas from our Bloomfield, Indiana office. Prometheus Energetics is a new US-based joint venture and will be a market supplier of solid rocket motors, energetics, and other adjacent market opportunities for the US and international defense markets. The Director will develop and lead the strategic growth trajectory of the Prometheus team. The Director will interact with US and International prime defense contractors and government personnel at various seniority levels and with any other appropriate divisions within the company to drive the best technical solutions that maximize revenue, award potential, and execution success.

Essential Job Functions:
- Develop pipeline and forecasts to document company's growth opportunities and key targets.
- Create and execute capture planning initiatives to secure new business.
- Negotiate programs and orders with government, prime, and sub-contractor representatives.
- Interface and brief internal and external customers and partners.
- Improve the company's competitive positioning as well as potential customers' knowledge and perception of the company's core competencies.
- Create specific proposal win strategies and cost methodologies to include developing proposal narratives and cost input.
- Lead and manage strategic growth projects and initiatives.
- Conduct business development and capture management internal reviews.
- Support continuous improvement for internal processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior and mid-level business development staff.
- Cooperate and coordinate members (Kratos and Rafael) marketing teams.
Experience and Skills
- Ability to maintain sensitive and classified information as required by government standards
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
- Ability to represent the company appropriately with the public
- Ability to adhere to workplace rules
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
Education & Experience
- MBA or Master's Degree in science and engineering field
- Greater than 15 years of relevant (defense is advantage) business development experience with greater than 10 years in leadership role
- Greater than 10 years of Active-Duty Military and/or DoD Civilian experience and/or missile prime contractor or missile tier1 subcontractor employee
