Overview
VTG is looking for a Senior Business Program and Project Manager in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
What will you do?
· Assist Sponsor as one of the primary POCs and lead for Action Items, congressional tasks, and data calls.
· Develop program documentation such as planning documents, board charters, and schedules, tracking action items and developing briefings.
· Develop and implement financial management frameworks to ensure accurate and transparent project expense tracking and reporting and provide strategic guidance of financial planning and forecasting to drive business outcomes.
· Design and lead resource allocation and capacity planning initiatives to optimize business operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective utilization of resources to achieve business goals.
· Update and maintain the content management system documentation on SharePoint, the office website, Confluence, and shared folders. Post announcements and relevant updates.
· Distribute correspondence and documentation to external stakeholders to facility office information flow within TED.
· Organize initiatives and work with TED officers to plan off-sites or events.
Do you have what it takes?
TS/SCI with Poly Required
Must have a Bachelors Degree plus 15 years experience or a Masters Degree plus 13 years.
All candidates must meet the following qualifications. Additional position-specific qualifications listed in the table below:
· Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or at least 4 years of work experience in project management and resource management.
· At least 4 years' experience supporting the IC.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Expertise in tracking and monitoring program activities and initiatives.
· Proven ability to plan and organize tasks independently.
· Strong written and oral communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated experience using MS Office applications and similar tools.
· Proving ability to work independently and identify and implement solutions to issues as they arise.
· Outstanding coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
· Ability to build strong relationships with customers and external partners.
All standard qualifications listed above this table plus the following:
· Exceptional corporate communication expertise, demonstrated through experience writing for diverse audiences, including both broad audiences and senior executives.
· Proven ability to interact with customers, external stakeholders, and program managers in a highly matrixed environment.
· Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders, partners, consumers, and senior champions.
· Ability to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.
· Success in liaison across organizations to collect and collate data.
· Willingness to travel domestically.
