As a Tactical Subject Matter Expert, you will support the Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) development team and training device owners in a wide array of responsibilities. NGTS is a highly advanced virtual training system offering Navy and Air Force pilots the ability to train in a mission setting.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in test and evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Navy Link-16 operations, including J-Message construction, MIL-STD-6016 interpretation, Joint Network Library (JNL) files, and datalink usage across C2 and non-C2 platforms.
• Ability to integrate datalink processes into NGTS Live/Virtual/Constructive (LVC) simulations.
• Experience with System-of-Systems (SoS) architectures, including datalink and LVC systems.
• Familiarity with the NGTS application is required.
• Well-versed with Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP) integration with Link 16.

Desired Experience:

• Technical background in weapon systems, radar functionality, and aircraft performance.
• Experience supporting Air Force and/or Navy simulation-based training.
• Prior tactical aviation experience (pilot or NFO) is highly desirable.

Security Clearance Requirement:

• This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary Range:

• The estimated salary range for this position will be $145,000 - $160,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
