Enterprise Operations Management Support - (714)

EPS Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced professional for the position of Enterprise Operations Management Support. This position requires expertise in IT operations and services management, with a focus on Unix/Linux systems, firewalls, and overall enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex IT environments and supporting enterprise-level operations, while working in a highly secure and mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive operations management support for enterprise IT services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of systems and infrastructure.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance to ensure continuous availability and security.
• Support and manage IT services related to Unix/Linux environments, firewalls, and other enterprise technologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence, ensuring timely issue resolution and system uptime.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT operations processes, procedures, and workflows.
• Implement and manage best practices for IT operations, including change management, incident management, and configuration management.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on IT infrastructure, system management, and security protocols.
• Assist in managing IT service delivery and performance, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Continuously assess and improve operational efficiency through process optimization and automation.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Security Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Certifications:
  • VCTA (VMware Certified Technical Associate)
  • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
• Education:
  • B.S. in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering) OR
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise IT operations and services management.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • 7+ years of experience in IT operations/services management, supporting enterprise-level infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and firewalls (configuration and management).
  • Extensive background in IT services management, including change and incident management.

Additional Skills:

• Deep understanding of IT operations, service management, and systems administration.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure, including Unix/Linux and firewall systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with internal and external teams.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, mission-driven environment with complex technical challenges.
• Experience with ITIL-based service management practices and methodologies.

Familiarity with automation tools for system management and optimization
