Job Summary:
The successful candidate for the Joint Mission Environment Testing Capability (JMETC) IT Information Assurance position will be part of the KBR Cybersecurity team supporting the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) in the cybersecurity duties regarding all TRMC systems undergoing Risk Management Framework (RMF). This position will be a part of a distributed cybersecurity team. This team member will undergo TRMC RMF training to become and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). This team member will also be responsible for assisting the Cybersecurity Team Lead in wiki space management, task tracking and project management assisting in the continuous monitoring of systems dedicated to ensuring the system security integrity of systems.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) deliverables to the Government
- Train to become an ISSM for TRMC systems
- Assist the Cybersecurity Team lead on managing task tracking for the cybersecurity team
- Assist in the performance of assessments of systems and networks within the TRMC enclaves and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
- Assist in the process support, coordination support, security certification test support, security documentation support, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits.
- Work to upgrade the Cybersecurity team Confluence and JIRA pages
- Work with TRMC to develop Communications Security (COMSEC) Procedures
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or related experience in security of 5 years.
- Certifications: Within one-year intermediate certification complying with DoD 8140 Workforce requirements
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance
- Technical Skills Preferred:
- Experience with communications security (COMSEC)
- Security Monitoring and Management
- Office skills - Documentation, Technical Writing.
- JIRA / Confluence or other Help Desk experience

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards, including NIST, FIPS, and others.
- Has expertise in Military, DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and IT requirements, advises colleagues on interpretation of standards within the context of Group's contract objectives.
