Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Linux Engineer to join a well-knownfederal contracting company based out of Washington, DC. The Top Secret Cleared Linux Engineer is responsible for ensuring RHEL systems meet organzational needs and are properly maintained.

Responsibilities of the Top Secret Cleared Linux Engineer include:
  • Perform installation, maintenance, configuration, account management and patching for Linux/UNIX systems
  • Develop and support RHEL 9.x shell scirpting for netowrking and server-based tasks
  • Provide solutioning in Linux distributions outside of RHEL such as CentOS or Ubuntu
  • Manage Splunk deployments on RHEL 9.x for enterprise deployments

Qualifications for the Top Secret Cleared Linux Engineer includes :
  • 5+ years of Linux/Unix/RHEL administration/engineering experience
  • Experience with scripting technologies such as Bash, Shell or Python
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • IAT II certification is preferred
  • Top Secret or DOE Q clearance is required

Compensation for the Top Secret Cleared Linux Engineer includes :
  • Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000 ** depending on experience**
  • Benefits: Full benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Cigna Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k
