The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a highly motivated and tactical Agile Practice Lead to provide agile coaching to a large Agile DevSecOps contract. The Agile Practice Lead will help train teams on Agile methodologies and oversee development of Agile teams to ensure effective outcomes and drive organizational transformations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process and are tasked with encouraging all personnel to embrace the Agile methodologies.
  • Facilitate improvements across the contract.
  • Provide clear directions and instructional materials for agile teams.


Clearance Required:
  • Current Secret.


Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including aligning Agile teams to deliver capabilities effectively.
  • Proficiency in defining roles, artifacts, and processes to support Agile development efforts.
  • Strong background in managing and tracking work within a SAFe environment to ensure timely completion of goals.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Agile development, with five (5) years specializing in the SAFe.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Development or related IT field preferred.


Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) Certification.
  • Prior experience as an Agile Coach or Release Train Engineer.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools – JIRA, Confluence.

Pay Range: Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
