Operations Research Analyst
**Future Opportunity**
CSEngineering is looking to add an Operations Research Analyst to our growing team!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING: Shall support the initiation of the CM Program, communications with all the other CM activities, and selected information and performance measurements received from the status accounting activity.
CONFIGURATION IDENTIFICATION: Provide support to establish and maintain the definitive current basis for control and status accounting of a system and its configuration items (CI) throughout their life cycle.
CONFIGURATION CONTROL: Supports preparation, justification, evaluation, coordination, disposition, and implementation of proposed engineering changes and deviations (variations) to affected (CI) as baselined configuration documentation.
CONFIGURATION STATUS ACCOUNTING (CSA): Support the process of creating and organizing the knowledge base necessary for the performance of configuration management.
CONFIGURATION VERIFICATION AND AUDIT: Ensuring the product/system is accurately documented and achieves agreed-upon performance requirements through verification and audits of CSA.
CMPRO ADMINISTRATION AND DATA MANAGEMENT: Perform administrative management of the CMPro application, as well as support to tailor, populate, and maintain data within the application.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: Must have a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and NC2 access.
Must possess at least five (5) years of relevant experience in systems engineering and system configuration management.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in engineering, physical science, mathematics, life sciences, computer science, or other field of science.
Demonstrated effectiveness in managing programmatic and technical planning and execution of integrated performance and configuration control activities.
Demonstrated technical expertise, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to achieve organizational goals and customer expectations.
Demonstrated knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the Department of Defence, Air Force, and other entities that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems, engineering process, and integrated life cycle management.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage critical aspects of research, development, production, and support of subsystems or equipment, and integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of functions and personnel in support of the CM process.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement CM practices, procedures, and metrics that support operational and mission requirements, as measured by:
Development of standardized CM procedures and guidelines.
Implementation of quantitative metrics to track CM performance (e.g., defect density, configuration accuracy).
Achievement of 90% or higher compliance with established CM procedures and guidelines.
Successful integration of CM with other functional areas (e.g., engineering, logistics, testing).
Timely and effective support of operational and mission requirements through CM activities.
Hold an Active Top Secret Clearance
