ARSIEM Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior IA Specialist to support U.S. Navy cybersecurity initiatives in Monterey, CA. The position involves full-time onsite responsibilities across both Windows and Linux administration tracks, depending on the candidate's skillset, with a focus on Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance and secure system support. This position will support one of our Government clients in Monterey, CA.

Responsibilities
    • Lead RMF processes (Steps 1-6) and support ATO packages within eMASS.
    • Validate IA controls and document compliance using NIST 800-53.
    • Develop and manage POA&Ms for remediation efforts.
    • Coordinate with cybersecurity leadership to ensure systems meet RMF and DoD 8570.01-M requirements.
    • Conduct and document vulnerability scanning (e.g., ACAS, Tenable SecurityCenter/Nessus).
    • Provide guidance and artifacts aligned with STIGs for either:
    • Windows OS (with MECM patching, SCAP tools, STIG checklists)
    • Linux OS (preferably RHEL, with Ansible patching, SCAP tools, STIG checklists)
    • Support ZTA and IAM implementations.


Minimum Qualifications
    • 3+ years in cybersecurity, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent military training.
    • DoD 8570 IAM Level II (e.g., CAP, CASP+, CISM).
    • Strong knowledge of RMF, eMASS, and IA compliance methodologies.
    • Experience with either Windows or Linux system administration and security tools.


Preferred Qualifications
    • Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) certification.
    • Familiarity with Navy networks and cybersecurity tools (ACAS, HBSS, SIEMs).


$100,000 - $110,000 a year

The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other laws.
