Functional Responsibilities:
The CCD - Mid shall possess an active and transferable U.S. TOP-SECRET (with SSBI).The Mid-Level Cyber Capability Developer (Reverse Engineer) is a proficient technical professional specializing in the analysis and understanding of software, firmware, and systems through reverse engineering techniques. With prior experience in Agile environments, they bring adaptability and collaboration skills to contribute effectively to projects. This role requires a solid foundation in reverse engineering principles coupled with the ability to work within Agile frameworks to support the team in achieving project goals. The Contractor shall provide Mid-Level Reverse Engineer services, working alongside the Government Supervisors, Product Owners, and developers. These services shall include:
Minimum General Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in reverse engineering, cybersecurity, or software development roles, with exposure to reverse engineering activities. Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in Agile environments, preferably in roles involving collaboration within Agile teams.
Education and Certification Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field is preferred. Relevant certifications such as Certified Reverse Engineering Analyst (CREA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar certifications demonstrating proficiency in reverse engineering and cybersecurity are beneficial but not required.

- Reverse Engineering Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of software binaries, firmware, and systems to uncover vulnerabilities, extract proprietary algorithms, and understand system functionalities.
- Agile Collaboration: Collaborate with Agile teams to understand project requirements, prioritize tasks, and contribute to project planning and execution within Agile methodologies.
- Vulnerability Identification: Assist in the identification and analysis of security vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and design flaws in software applications and systems through reverse engineering techniques.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document reverse engineering findings, analysis methodologies, and contribute to project documentation. Prepare technical reports and updates to communicate progress and findings effectively.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with team members, including security analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to address technical challenges, propose solutions, and contribute to implementation efforts.
- Continued Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in reverse engineering and cybersecurity. Engage in self-study, training, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Tool Development: Develop or contribute to the development of tools, scripts, or plugins to automate reverse engineering tasks and improve analysis capabilities.
- Exploit Analysis Support: Assist in the analysis of proof-of-concept exploits and security tools to understand exploit techniques and contribute to defensive measures.
- Agile Process Improvement: Participate in Agile retrospectives and contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance team productivity and collaboration.
