Description
Leidos is seeking an Interagency Security Policy SME for a customer activity at a customer site in the National Capital Region. Security Policy SME’s primary function will be to coordinate security policy compliant with interagency security standards. The Security Policy SME will support local security staff to implement and execute organizational security procedures in line with customer and partner organization requirements. Additionally, the Security Policy SME will increase security insight in the development of program execution strategies.

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Leidos is seeking an Interagency Security Policy SME for a customer activity at a customer site in the National Capital Region. Security Policy SME’s primary function will be to coordinate security policy compliant with interagency security standards. The Security Policy SME will support local security staff to implement and execute organizational security procedures in line with customer and partner organization requirements. Additionally, the Security Policy SME will increase security insight in the development of program execution strategies.
Additional duties will include:
- Managing interagency security requirements in their organization's facilities
- Preparing and reviewing authorization requests for access to partner organization-managed sensitive data, conducting basic investigations, facilitating clearances, and providing assistance in training sessions for new security programs unique requirements.
- Acting as a liaison for government agencies in the DoD and IC
- Maintaining knowledge of the applicable laws, rules, and regulations relating to personnel and traditional security and developments occurring in the security community, DoD, and IC SCI personnel and physical security requirements for Intelligence Community Directive (ICD)
- Reviewing, implementing, and making recommendations for process improvements based on previously conducted business process analyses
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6-10 years’ experience. 10-15 years experience is acceptable in lieu of degree
- Experience with and ability to work in a very dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DoD, IC, civilian personnel and industry partners
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Windows operating
- Knowledge of and experience with SCI and SAP security requirements in the DoD and in the IC
Travel:
- Up to 25%
Security Clearance:
- Must possess a current/active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility with CI Polygraph. Candidates who do not currently possess this level of clearance will not be considered.
