Blu Omega is seeking a highly motivated Training & Development Analyst to support a critical training and development initiative aligned with mission priorities and performance objectives. This role will analyze current training programs, collaborate with leadership to identify and address training gaps, and help build scalable, modular training curricula to drive workforce readiness.
What You'll Be Doing
The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide array of tasks and activities, including:
Analyze Existing Training Materials: Assist in evaluating current workforce training materials to ensure alignment with mission goals and performance metrics.
Support Training Plans: Support the development and execution of plans to continue the delivery of ongoing trainings and workshops.
Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with leadership to identify curriculum gaps and prioritize the development of new training material.
Update Training Content: Summarize findings, incorporate feedback, and update training topics and objectives accordingly.
Create Comprehensive Training Plans: Help create a comprehensive workforce training plan, including measurable outcomes and timelines.
Develop Scalable Curricula: Develop modular, repeatable, and scalable training curricula that can be easily adjusted as needed.
Deliver Training: Implement training curricula and deliver targeted training in accordance with established plans.
Coordinate Support: Provide administrative and logistical support related to training updates and delivery.
Required Skills
Active Secret Clearance (must have to be considered)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
Experience in developing and facilitating workforce training programs
Familiarity with instructional design principles and best practices
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Preferred Skills
Experience in project management frameworks and methodologies
Knowledge of change management methodologies, strategic communication plans, workshop facilitation, and skills coaching
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions
Professional certifications in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD)
Flexibility to assist with various aspects of training and development as needed
Ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices
Ability to analyze training effectiveness data and provide actionable insights
Strong time management skills to ensure timely delivery of training materials and sessions
