Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking an SCA Video Teleconference Technician to join our Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Mission Training Complex (MTC) team on-base in Washington state.
This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
Responsibilities:
This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position with applicable $35.00 SCA rate and health and welfare benefits.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Sets up, tests, maintains, operates, and troubleshoots Non-classified Internet Protocol (NIPR) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR) video teleconferencing (VTC) equipment
- Works independently as the MTC liaison when coordinating and scheduling secure and unclassified VTC briefings, conferences, and training events with customers and representatives
- Fields frequent interactions with the customer as well as outside customer contacts on routine and spontaneous matters
- Makes independent decisions which may impact the organization's operations and services
- Uses Microsoft Outlook calendars and Microsoft Teams for scheduling and coordination

Basic Requirements:
- One of the following:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of audio / visual (A/V) experience
- Associate's degree in A/V, media technology, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of A/V experience
- Bachelor's degree in A/V, media technology, or related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of A/V experience
- Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
- Experience with Microsoft Teams
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word
- Must be able to work on-site at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington
- Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)
Preferred Requirements:
- Formal VTC training certification
- General knowledge of Cisco WebEx Code Plus
