The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Contract Management Specialist based out of Tukwila, WA.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a commercial derivative aircraft program based on Boeing Commercial Airplanes like the 737 and 767, with potential engagement in programs such as E-7A Airborne Early Warning and Control, P-8 Poseidon or KC-46 Tanker. The dynamic nature of this role ensures that day-to-day responsibilities are diverse and ever-changing, making it ideal for individuals who excel in environments filled with innovative and unique challenges.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Position Responsibilities:
- Exercises appropriate signature authority, leads, and participates in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies
- Leads the presentation and development of complex business solutions to preserve and expand the business
- Represents the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customers
- Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature for The Boeing Company
- Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines
- Summarizes complex contractual issues and leads development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation
- Serves as the primary liaison to United States Government (USG) Contracts Organizations, covering a wide range of acquisition and execution activities
- Collaborates with government partners and program managers to meet contract obligations
- Negotiates good business deals
- Protects Boeing's Intellectual Property
- Fosters relationships with programs, functional organizations, and Integrated Product Teams

- 3+ years of defense contracts or related experience
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- Experience in defense contracting
- Experience in aerospace or direct defense contracting experience (e.g., NASA)
- Certifications in Contract Management from organizations such as the National Contract Management Agency are desirable
