In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
• Interface with SP Navy Customers, Program Office Integration, Contracts, F&BO, Program Planning and Requirements, Material Resource Planning and Quality
• Provide leadership, direction, guidance, and assistance to ensure communication and coordination to multi-disciplined teams. Counsel and mentor assigned employees
• Manage budget allocations associated with tasks
• Coordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary and recognition/disciplinary actions
• Manage team of strategic planners and inventory managers responsible for reentry hardware through the entire life cycle of the FBM program from development, production, sustainment to final disposal
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Titusville, FL. , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience and Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college, combined education/experience accepted.
• Experience with Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program
• Previous Leadership Experience (formal or informal)
• Computer expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, to handle multiple projects at once, to prioritize tasks, and efficiently manage your workload.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
• Experience with Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Reentry Program
• Experience with material and inventory management processes for AP materials, GOE hardware processes, and use of inventory management tools such as ERP/SAP/SAIL
• Experience coordinating projects where multi-disciplines/organizations need to work together to achieve specific goals to meet milestone schedules.
• Possess excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, write and listen in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure, delivers information in a clear and concise manner, and facilitates decision-making

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
