Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Software Architect that will support the newly created PM EWC Architecture and Interoperability Division in their mission to coordinate interoperability and integration across each product office. This is an exciting opportunity to identify and recommend standards across the portfolio to support integration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide Software systems architecture support to facilitate integration and interoperability across the PM EW&C portfolio and beyond (including Electronic Warfare, Cyber, and SIGINT).
• Tracking, reporting, and consolidation of testing and demonstration opportunities across the EW&C Programs of Record.
• Identify opportunities within the portfolio to support collaborative operations in a military context.
• Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
• Facilitate collection and consolidation of information from multiple product offices.
The Software Systems Architect Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
Requirements: MUST HAVE
• Minimum of five (5) years of Systems engineering experience to include collaborating with system stakeholders to translate operational requirements into system/software requirements, designs, and implementation plans.
• 2+ years in cyber, cloud-based web-platforms, Information Technology, or C4ISR systems.
• Knowledge of software interfaces, data exchange and networking experience
• Experience with virtualized environments and automation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, VMs, VMWare, Ansible).
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and Ubiquitous.
• Ability to recommend integrated architectures that support interoperability needs.
• Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders.
• Ability to demonstrate strong Excel and/or MS Project user knowledge
• Experience developing milestone charts and swim lane diagrams
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and effective utilization of tools.
Preferred:
• Experience with Military networks
• Ability to make recommendations for business process improvements with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the technology needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Warfare (EW), SIGINT and electromagnetic elements
Qualifications:
• BS and/or graduate degree(s) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
• Five (5) years of related experience
• Four (4) years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for education
Position requires active Security Clearance
Pay Range: 190,000-225,000
