Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Windows System Administrator to manage and maintain the Windows Server environment for a military contract. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies, and will be responsible for ensuring that the server infrastructure meets stringent security and availability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
Ensure that Windows servers are compliant with security and patching standards.
Support the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, including backup, recovery, and monitoring.
Perform troubleshooting and support for user-related issues and service requests.
Ensure the systems are secure and optimized according to government regulations.
Qualifications:
Secret clearance is required.
CompTIA Security+ certification required.
3+ years of experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
Strong understanding of system security, patch management, and best practices for Windows Server environments.
Familiarity with virtualization, storage, and network management.
Ability to work under pressure and support mission-critical systems.
