What You'll Do & Why It Matters
As a key member of our 24x7 Operations Support team, you'll monitor and manage a wide range of infrastructure and systems that support critical intelligence missions across CONUS and OCONUS. This isn't just another admin role-you'll be hands-on with complex systems and have a direct impact on uptime, availability, and mission readiness.
In this role, you'll:
- Proactively monitor infrastructure and cloud resources to ensure SLA compliance
- Triage and troubleshoot issues across Windows, Linux, virtual machines, storage, and networks
- Administer virtualized environments (vCenter, VMs, high-availability systems)
- Own and escalate incidents through the full lifecycle using ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
- Execute and track infrastructure changes through a structured change management process
- Partner with vendors on maintenance and hardware replacements
- Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, and trend reports for leadership and partners
- Continuously identify and suggest improvements to systems and processes

- Have 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration
- Excel at troubleshooting and resolving tier 2+ issues in virtual environments
- Are detail-oriented and thrive in complex, high-tempo environments
- Take pride in professionalism, integrity, and clear communication
- Stay coachable and eager to learn-you're hungry to grow technically and professionally
- Understand the value of process (ITIL, SLA compliance, change management)
- Education: Bachelor's in IT or related field-or equivalent combination of experience and certifications
- Certifications: Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher (Security+ or similar)
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with virtualized systems (VMware/vCenter)
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows administration
- Knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, BMC)
- Experience with ITSM platforms, preferably ServiceNow
- Awareness of cross-functional IT disciplines and infrastructure
- Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph
- ITIL v4 certification or familiarity with the framework
- Experience supporting thin client provisioning
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring and SLA management

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $120-130k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
