Madison Associates Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Digital Forensic Examiner in Washington, DC. This role offers both onsite and telework opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities: Madison Associates, a law enforcement consulting firm, is currently seeking a qualified candidate for full-time work as a 1099 contractor with a federal law enforcement agency in Washington, DC. This position is similar to a Forensic Computer Specialist, Seized Computer Evidence Recovery Specialist (SCERS), Computer Investigator Specialist (CIS), or a Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) investigator. Generally, the duties of those who are sought by this announcement will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conduct digital forensic examinations in support of a law enforcement agency.

• Conduct forensic imaging and analysis of digital media (includes any computer or device capable of storing electronic information).

• Perform mobile device exploitation using Cellebrite and other industry standard tools.

• Support requests for on-site digital forensic examinations.

• Utilize Nuix, Blacklight, and Axiom as well as other forensic tools to analyze communications and application features for forensic artifacts.

• Input results into various professional products such as reports of forensic examination, graphs, or charts, and power point presentations for law enforcement use.

• Serve as a factual witness during court proceedings.
