Job Description:

Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Explosives Safety Inventory Manager to join our team. The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Infrastructure/Facilities Department, Safety Branch.

Basic Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with DoD Ordnance programs
  • Ordnance Information System (OIS) experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently

Responsibilities:
  • Track all ordnance and/or related materials, and Over-Head Equipment (OHE).
  • Perform reconciliations and conduct causative research as required per the NAVSUP P724, NAVSEAINST 10490 series and other related publications.
  • Generate DD Form 1348 Issue and Receipt documents and any other documents necessary for ordnance evolutions, exercises, testing, services, and training.
  • Perform annual physical inventories of ordnance and/or related materials.
  • Coordinate required ordnance movements and logistics support with AMMOPAC and other organizations as required.
  • Participate in all ordnance related materials and OHE loading and offloading operations.
  • Perform onsite inventory of materials and ensure the proper documentation is provided and received for all receipts and issues.
  • Maintain the Explosives Safety Self-Assessment (ESSA) Program.
  • Conduct ESSA Programs inspections.
  • Develop and implement Corrective Action plans for deficiencies noted during annual ESSA, Explosive Safety Technical Assist Visits (ESTAV), and Explosive Safety Inspections (ESI).
  • Conduct annual physical inventory counts, verification, and reconciliation to include inspection and verification, to include verification through Ordnance Information System Report database.
  • Assist with data requests from internal and external stakeholders as required.

Work Location:

This position is 100% on-site in Port Hueneme, CA. Work will be performed at the designated client or company location, and remote work is not available for this rrole.

Salary Range

$62,000 - $65,000 USD
