We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to drive growth in our IT Services portfolio within the federal sector. This individual will identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities with federal agencies, leveraging their existing relationships and deep understanding of government procurement processes. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in business development, a strong grasp of IT solutions, and an active Top Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities within federal agencies for IT services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, AI/ML, and IT infrastructure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key federal stakeholders, system integrators, and technology partners.
- Lead the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and pipeline development to bid strategy, teaming, and proposal support.
- Develop and execute a federal sales strategy that aligns with the company's capabilities and goals in IT services.
- Stay up to date on federal IT trends, procurement vehicles, budget cycles, and competitive landscape.
- Work closely with proposal teams to shape win themes, competitive differentiators, and pricing strategies.
- Leverage knowledge of federal contracting vehicles to navigate the procurement process and position the company for success.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) security clearance required.
- 3 + years of federal business development/account executive experience, with a focus on IT services.
- Understanding of federal IT trends, emerging technologies, and solutions such as cloud computing, cybersecurity and AI/ML.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, capturing, and winning federal IT Services contracts.
- Established relationships with federal agencies and industry partners.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience shaping RFPs, RFIs, and working with proposal teams.
- Familiarity with federal procurement regulations and government contract vehicles.
