Aircraft Maintenance Manager
Compass Call is an airborne electronic attack weapon system that has been actively deployed, supported and modernized for over 40 years. The Compass Call program encompasses the full life-cycle from technical studies and development to production, support equipment and training. With the introduction of Cross Decking the platform, BAE Systems became the Prime for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS). This position offers the opportunity to join the team as an Aircraft Maintenance Manager to assist the Director of Maintenance and provide shift and deployed location aircraft maintenance continuity.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Aircraft Maintenance Manager

This position offers the opportunity to join the team as an Aircraft Maintenance Manager to assist the Director of Maintenance and provide shift and deployed location aircraft maintenance continuity.
Duties:
- Responsible to the Repair Station Director of Maintenance for the performance of all assigned duties.
- Assist in the managing and scheduling of workloads, coordinating aircraft maintenance schedules prior to and during the performance of all Repair Station functions.
- Assist in the development and execution of operational and maintenance scheduling requirements for all assigned aircraft, engines, and related support equipment into long range, quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily plans to make efficient use of resources.
- Assist, supervise, and direct all aircraft maintenance personnel in the performance of their duties so that work is accomplished on schedule and in accordance with applicable CFRs and Repair Station procedures.
- Utilize customer yearly, monthly, weekly flying schedule to prioritize maintenance actions and control the flow of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance functions.
- Ensure maintenance performed is in accordance with OEM/approved technical data and FAA Part 145 Repair Station manuals and procedures.
- Ensure aircrew debriefs are conducted and any required information has been gathered to assist with aircraft maintenance and aircraft status tracking.
- Collaborate with assigned QA Inspector to achieve aircraft approval for return to service
- Update and track aircraft and part status for daily meetings and customer reports.
- Conduct/participate in weekly/daily maintenance meetings with your team and the customer.
- Ensure team members know, understand and are engaged in achieving critical Metrics and key performance indicators
- Validate maintenance record entries are completed in accordance with 14 CFR Part 43 and the requirements of the Repair Station manual.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance, sortie generation and strategic planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence in presentations to customer or management audiences
- Experienced in computer skills to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Compliance, Trend Analysis, Scheduling, FOD & Tool Control, Technical Orders (T.O.), FAA FARs and Aircraft Maintenance Information Systems
- Must currently hold a secret security clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret if required.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license & 6 years of experience in a similar position.
- When required, must be able to work flexible and extended hours.
- Will be required to travel in support of maintenance functions.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
