At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Technical Targeter, a typical day will include the following duties:

GCI is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Targeter to support critical mission areas with the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to synthesize and analyze complex data from disparate sources, collaborate seamlessly with diverse and geographically dispersed teams, and perform in-depth network analysis. Strong technical skills and expertise are required along with the ability to develop actionable insights to inform mission-critical decisions.

Tasks:

• Regularly integrate with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Work with relevant teams and partners to ensure mission success.
• Provide mentoring to other workers on the team and keep management aware of meeting outcomes.
• Proper file maintenance
• Maintain full understanding of operations with ability to report on the status and guide toward new path if necessary

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a targeter and proficiency with a variety of tools and databases
• Familiarity with technical topics including cellular/computer/wireless networks and associated devices
• Understanding of network exploitation and analysis
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining community contacts
• Experience using analytic, writing and briefing skills when presenting results of targeting research

Key Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of telecommunications; knowledge of cellular/computer/wireless networks, and associated devices to identify vulnerabilities.
• Strong HUMINT and Technical Targeting skills.

Desired skills:

• Experience with Python, BASH, and other programming languages
• Experience conducting research and analysis
• Experience reading and translating from foreign languages to English.

Education Requirement:

BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

Experience Requirement:

8-10 years of experience
