We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee and ensure the functional excellence of all aircraft maintenance, modification, and logistics activities within our ISR, Aviation, and Security division. This role will focus heavily on product structure, iterative breakdown, scheduling, critical path analysis, and sequencing of manufacturing orders. A meticulous focus on compliance, safety, and quality is essential, along with strong leadership to drive continuous improvement in operational processes.

A meticulous focus on compliance, safety, and quality is essential, along with strong leadership to drive continuous improvement in operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations and standards (FAA, DoD, DCMA, AFI 21-101, 8210.1C, and 8210.1D).
- Develop and maintain detailed product structures and iterative breakdowns for maintenance and modification projects.
- Create and manage comprehensive project schedules, identifying critical paths and key milestones.
- Oversee the sequencing of manufacturing orders and ensure alignment with project timelines and resource availability.
- Supervise and support the maintenance, modification, and logistics teams.
- Ensure continuous improvement in operational processes through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Ensure safety, quality, and performance metrics are met and continuously improved.
- Develop training programs for maintenance and logistics staff, ensuring they are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.
- Oversee the development and enforcement of safety protocols and quality management systems tailored to the IAS division needs.
- Conduct regular safety drills and quality inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, modification, and logistics activities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management within the IAS division.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods and optimize logistics operations to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
- 10+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, modifications, and logistics which includes 6+ years of management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of aviation regulations and standards (FAA, DoD, DCMA).
- Proven experience in leading and managing large operational teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics and maintenance management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with comprehensive Contractor Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (C-LCSP).
- Proficiency in maintenance management and planning, including familiarity with FAA Type Certificates and Title 14 CFR Part 91.409(e).
- Experience with FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificates and Title 14 CFR Part 145 Certificated Repair Stations.
- Expertise in developing ETOPS programs in accordance with FAA Advisory Circular 120-42B and Title 14 CFR part 121.374.
- Knowledge of FAA Letter of Authorization (LOA) for Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) based upon the Master Minimum Essential Equipment List (MMEL) and Title 14 CFR Part 91.213.
- Experience in compliance with Title 14 CFR Part 91.419 for aircraft maintenance records.
- Ability to manage scheduled maintenance plans, projected labor hours, material costs, and compliance with Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
- Proven experience working within Title 14 CFR Part 145 Certificated Repair Stations.
- Demonstrated experience in product structure management, critical path analysis, and sequencing of manufacturing orders.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
