This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Secret Clearance
In this role, you will:
- Support the installation, testing and maintenance of patch panels, fiber enclosures and network racks.
- Support development, design, configuration/setup, test, maintenance and upgrade of the application hosting environment using virtualization application such as VMWare ESXI, Hyper V or other applicable virtualization platform.
- Shall support the implementation configuration/setup, test, maintenance and upgrade of Host Base Security System (HBSS) solution to include derivation and configuration and implementation of the required security policies.
- Perform regular auditing of logs generated within a VM, a host, storage system, or other environment's component that generates a log within the required time frame or as needed perform.
- Support acquiring the appropriate Public Key Infrastructure certificates needed within the environment, if the required Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is available for use, or develop an internal PKI through various levels of internal Certificate Authorities (CA) servers when required.
- Upload artifacts such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), SCAP scans and STIG checklist files to repositories such as eMASS and VRAM.
- Implement or apply all applicable Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) IAW established frequency, industry best security and design practices, and implement all applicable Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) security requirements.
- Support the regular security scans of network infrastructures using the ACAS scanner or other required and approved network infrastructure security scanning tools, IAW established frequency.
- Support the authorization requirements of all related network infrastructures through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process or through other required security authorization process.
- Implement the appropriate policies for HBSS and address all security issues that have been identified through HBSS.
- Install, configure, maintain, upgrade and administer an environment monitoring system or systems, to include the environment monitoring system's database server application and log collector if applicable.
- Perform regular patching or upgrade of all operating systems and or firmware.
- Continuously check all environment's systems vendor supportability status, particularly End Of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS).
- Be on-call, when required, in case any system, within the personnel's area of responsibility requires urgent support.
- Conduct daily ESS "start of day' to set up CCTV cameras, monitors, Lenel On Guard systems and verify ESS is working properly and perform troubleshooting if discrepancies are identified.
- Provide support to the MSC PAC Security Director.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An active Secret security clearance
- An up to date 8570 IAT Level II certification
- Windows Server or VMWare certification
- A Bachelors degree
- Or a High School Diploma with minimum 9 years of technical training related Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of technical training related Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related discipline
- Working knowledge and experience in IT particularly in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting virtualized environments with VMWare ESXi hypervisors, server blades, Windows Domain Controllers, Windows Active Directory, Windows Server 2016, SQL Servers, Crystal Servers and IIS web servers
- Working knowledge and experience with Lenel OnGuard; Lenel certification required
- Working knowledge and experience with hardening systems
- Working knowledge and experience with ACAS, SCAP and HBSS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
