Program Overview
The program provides continuous (24x7x365) IT Service Desk supporting approximately 70,000 accounts across 500+ locations within and outside the continental United States. The program provides contractor Watch Officers and government Watch Commander oversight to manage and coordinate the IT Critical Incident Management (CIM) Program, which supports several critical incidents.
About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Network Systems Supervisor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will become part of Peraton's Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Network Operation Center (NOC) Support Services program providing IT Service Desk support. The NOC provides continuous (24x7x365) IT Service Desk supporting approximately 70,000 FBI accounts across 500+ locations within and outside the continental United States. The NOC provides Tier 2 Network Performance Monitoring and Support and Tier 2 System Administration Monitoring and Support. The NOC supports the FBI's IT Critical Incident Management (CIM) Program, which supports the FBI's Strategic Information and Operations Center (SIOC), National Crisis Command Center (NC3), and Field Office Command Posts, among other critical incidents. The NOC provides a single point of contact for end users to receive technical support, request technical services and receive status about existing requests. The NOC will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 services that are critical to the successful operation of a technical support environment as it is the focal point for communication between technical solver groups. The IT Service Desk is central to the operational service model and is the focal point for end-to-end service delivery across the service operation lifecycle.
The Network Admin will be located in Pocatello, ID.

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Participates in support and maintenance operations for integrated hardware and software solutions.
- Interfaces with client management personnel in addition to end users.
- Provides user and system administrator support, including knowledge transfer and troubleshooting.
- Participates in development of training material and conducts user and system administrator training sessions.
- Adds or modifies hardware and software solution components to correct defects, improve performance, and incorporate additional capabilities.
- Maintains and improve customer satisfaction by providing troubleshooting with the ability to identify and report on routine issues.
- Assists other systems support personnel assigned to the project as necessary.
- Support continuous, innovative, and proactive operational Tier 1/2 Network performance monitoring and support.
- Support effective and continuous NOC 24x7x365 network support to stabilize and optimize network performance providing high availability.
- Support continuous global and all enclaves network monitoring to include the transport layer, from core nodes down to the individual end-nodes and support of all networks and network devices.
- Identification, isolation, tracking, resolution, and documentation of network hardware or enterprise applications software problems, failures, or faults which may impede the end-user's ability to communicate effectively with other users, servers, or devices on the network.
- Manage a diverse teams providing technical and system support services to ensure the availability and functionality to the FBI EOC supported systems.
- Develops and manages the Project Staffing in Pocatello, ID and Huntsville, AL to provide qualified and appropriately cleared personnel and other resources necessary to support the FBI EOC NOC and its functions.
- Manage and integrate contractor staff to support the customer and other contractor staff supporting the FBI.
- Assigns appropriately skilled and trained personnel, establishes work schedules, and reviews work discrepancies.
- Supervises contractor personnel, and communicates policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
- Be the primary Project interface with the Prime for all staffing, deliverables and project administrative matters.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years' experience or high school diploma/equivalent and minimum 12 years' experience
- 4+ experience supporting business systems with focus of experience:
- Identifying and resolving solutions to more difficult problems.
- Supporting medium to large sized systems.
- Address system issues by implementing workarounds and interim solutions to reported problems.
- Demonstrated analytical and communications skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required; Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Experience supporting the FBI SCINet, FBINet, UNet, and/or the BlackNet transport network.
- Experience supporting medium to large Information Technology business operations and systems.
